I've been "anonymous" only because I am brand new to blogging and haven't yet posted a photo or linked to my work site. Though I knew all along anyone remotely skilled at internet searching could ID me in about 2 clicks. Thanks for the nudge to work on my blog redesign now that I've been at it a couple months.

Julie. I remember when I started my first blog, Parenting Solved, 3 years ago I was hesitant to even divulge my name. Actually I forgot what leap it was to 'go public' with my ideas. This post doesn't reflect that and perhaps it should have. 'Come out' on your own terms but just realize that anonymity in this setting is a bit of an illusion.

As the parent of two young children and a former reader of Parenting Solved (I miss it!), I've always appreciated your willingness to lay it on the line, especially with regard to your opinions about vaccinations. You've continued your advocacy here on 33 Charts. I have to tell you I ordered the Texas Children's publication about vaccine-preventable diseases. I like to think I'll be as brave as you some day and that I'll show it to those who are on the fence about vaccinating. We'll see. Thank you again for not hesitating to associate your good name with your belief in the science and effectiveness of vaccinations.

Kay. Thank you. As I have said in the past: If all 60,000 members of the American Academy of Pediatrics stuck their neck out in the same way there would be much less 'controversy' over immunization. I appreciate you finding me. And by the way, I'll be posting occasionally over there. It lives on with all the old content at parentingsolved.typepad.com
